Copy Certifications - must present the original document

Each signer must present one of the following valid and unexpired government issued identification:

  • State issued driver's license or non-driver ID
  • U.S. passport or unexpired foreign passport
  • Certificate of Citizenship
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • Alien Registration/Permanent Resident Card
  • U.S. Military Identification


Personal appearance is required for all Notarial Acts.
A Virginia Notary Public can REFUSE to notarize a document.

Mobile Notary Services are available to Individuals and Businesses at:  Airports, Attorneys' Offices, Assisted Living Communities, Hospitals, Movie Sets, Medical Buildings, Office Buildings, Physicians, Residences, or any other mutually convenient location. 
With a scheduled appointment you are assured that your document will be notarized at the time and place most convenient to you.
